Production process in different states

6061 aluminum alloy has three most common states: O, F, T6.

T6 represents the heat treatment state and is the most used state for 6061 aluminum alloy. This state is obtained by quenching in a medium-thickness plate, slicing the plate, aging treatment with a tensile machine, sawing, polishing, and packaging.

F represents the free processing state and is suitable for special products that require special processing and heat treatment conditions during the forming process. Its production cycle is relatively short and the production process includes slicing the plate, sawing, polishing, and packaging.

O state refers to the processed products that have been annealed to obtain lower strength and are suitable for thin plates with a thickness of less than 8mm of 6061 aluminum alloy. Its production process includes cold rolling of the finished thickness, bending and straightening cleaning, annealing, slicing, and packaging

Application of difference aluminum sheet thickness

under 4mm

The surface of 6061 thin plates （thickness≤4mm） is white/glossy, which widely used in 3C fields such as cell phone card slots, keys, computer brackets, computer housings and other 3C fields as well as trolley cases, aluminum furniture, door panels/door knobs and other fields.

above 4mm

6061 medium aluminum plate (thickness ＞4mm) is widely used in underwear moulds, shoe molds, precision machining, passenger car decorative plate/patterned plate, automobile industry.
